For the last few years that I’ve been writing these emails & blogs we’ve done a number of ‘within driving distance of Thame’ posts.

The best beaches for a day visit, best Christmas & Easter activities for families, and towards the end of October, the best Halloween events.

I know it’s a very tenuous link with what we actually do here at Thame Cars, but as so many of us here have kids it really is a hot topic of conversation!

We also get loads of positive feedback from these posts, so we’ll continue until we’re told to stop :)

The good news is that round here, there’s loads to do in the lead up to Halloween.

Waddesdon Manor - Horrible Halloween

Spooky trails, crafty activities, pumpkin carving and a ‘fete worse than death’ this weekend.

Stonor Park - Halloween Trail

Explore the grounds, visit the adventure play park and carve yourself a pumpkin at this hidden gem on the way to Henley

Crocodiles Of The World - Fright Night

https://www.crocodilesoftheworld.co.uk/halloween2017/

This one is only running on Saturday night from 7-9:30pm. Crocs might not be normally associated with Halloween, but I imagine it’ll be a pretty scary place to hang out at night!

No kids?

No problem!

Turns out there are a few grown up thrills to be had in the local area too…

Pitt Rivers - AfterHours

https://www.prm.ox.ac.uk/afterhours

An adults only evening with the exhibitions like you’ve never experienced them before.

Oxford Castle Unlocked - Midnight Tour (Tuesday 31st 11pm)

https://www.oxfordcastleunlocked.co.uk/events/event/halloween-midnight-tour-2/

This iconic Oxford landmark will never be the same again after touring through the spookiest parts on the spookiest night of the year.

Wherever you drive to for Halloween, just remember that the clocks go back on Sunday morning so enjoy your lie in!

Happy driving.
