    Will your insurance be invalid if your MOT isn't up to date?

    What a silly question, you might say. But surprisingly, the answer to this question is ‘not necessarily’.

    Whilst most insurance providers will insist on an up to date MOT (and we certainly recommend that it’s a non-negotiable annual duty!) some stipulate that the car must merely be ‘road worthy’.

    Either way, NOT having a valid MOT is going to seriously damage the value of your car in the case of a claim so let’s just say that one more time: keep your test certificate up to date ;)
